The Black Bull started off as an inn during the late 1800s. 

Situated in Blaydon, and overlooking the River Tyne, the Bull is steeped in local history.

We took over the pub in January 2023 and spent a number of weeks redecorating and completing minor refurbishment works, before re-opening in the February. 

Above all, we have strived to keep this fantastic Victorian-style pub a warm and welcoming place to all.

With a wide range of beer, lager, cask ale, spirits and wines we have something for everybody who walks through our doors.

Our cosy bar boasts a fully working open fire which is perfect to sit by on those colder nights.

We also have a large and comfortable lounge for those who want a bit more space, or for larger groups.

And when the sun really starts to shine, our gorgeous beer garden is the place to be, with its absolutely stunning views over the River Tyne.
